You will find information here about how you can support the charity in many different ways. Our FREE service is only possible with the help and support of the community we serve.
'' I have just had the greatest week. Haircut and beard trimmed. Into the big bath to feel my legs moving and toes wiggling again and to feel no pain. Can’t quite believe it. To top it all off outside with sun cream on and umbrella up while the birds sing round about me. ''
Here are some frequently asked questions about visiting at ACCORD
Telephone enquiries regarding patients are welcome at any time during the day or night - where possible we ask the patients families nominate one person to call daily - 0141 581 2000.
Please bear with us if the phone rings out as the nurses will be delivering patient care.
Our preference for visiting would be between the hours of 2pm and 9pm everyday - however, we remain very flexible if these times do not suit. Please discuss with Charge Nurse Alison Auld or in her absence the Nurse in Charge.
The Inpatient and Hospice building has additional space available for you and your visitors to meet. We are very flexible and creative in getting the balance right for everyone.
